vaio vgn-n21s/w has DUAL channel memory? if not, why?

I'm going to upgrade my vaio memory (1GB is not enough for Vista)
and I wasn't able to understand if the memory is dual channel or not.

Should be dual channel. Its all to do with the data rates. Information.2GB is definately the optimum with vista. 1GB is just not quite enough.

This is the information about what you already have installed. This means that you will require 2 1GB sticks to upgrade to 2GB. And the speed should be 533MHz.

Here is where you should buy it from. You want the 2X 1GB for £49.34.

yes... it should be but... in the Crucial site my laptop memory is reported like: "not dual channel"! do you think I can trust them?

Well the RAM they sell are to the specification the SONY say so I don't know whether there scan is correct but I would definately buy it from them. Its not a bad price considering that a year ago 2GB of RAM would have set you back hundreds of pounds.
