VAIO VGN-TX2H | CPU higher than 80° C

Hi SamerDubai

As you vaio is getting very hot, this could be caused by a build up of dust etc, check the air vents are clear and try moving the internal dust by gently spraying with compressed air..

If using the compressed air does not help I would contact Vaio-Link as soon as possible..:smileywink:

It may be wise to turn on the Power Managment as this may temporarily help to keep your laptop cooler..

Also you may wish to download MobileMeter, if you've not done so already

I would reinstall those programs you removed and set the settings to full power.

Your CPU should not be more than 50c,it is running too hot,Something is obviously wrong with your system.80c is way too high and your proberly near burnout of your CPU.Take it back and dont let them give you the runaround.

Yes it can be dangerous, if it burns out.

Sony might not replace it either if they feel it's due to wear and tear or due to running it against their recomendations (I don't particularly agree with these, just passing the message on)

Hi SamerDubai,

Unfortunately Sony will not supply recovery DVD's in another language, see below..

The clear Sony policy on this reads, quote:

"Due to legal reasons and licensing agreements, VAIO Link cannot supply customers with Recovery CD-roms that differ in any way to the original product recovery CD-rom (i.e. different language versions, different model versions)."
