Hi all,
I have a Vaio VGN-Z11 (not sure if its XN/B or MN/B) and it currently has a CD RW drive. I would like to upgrade it to a DVD RW drive and wanted to know:
1. is this possible
2. is it a straight swap of the drive or do I need a new interface cable
3. the approprite part numbers I would need to order
I have looked online and I think its a generic VGN-Z series DVD drive I want but I want to be sure to order the right parts as I will probably go for used over new.
Do I need VGP-DRWBX1-BX
or can I just get UJ862ABSX4 and pop it in my existing bay???
