VAIO VPCM11M1E RAM UPGRADE TO 2GB

Is it possible to upgrade my Sony Vaio VPCM11M1E to 2GB.I have a DDR2 SO-DIMM 2 GB Chip?
How do you install the chip?
Can this model support the 2GB chip?

Sony say that the maximum memory supported is 1GB.

I don't think you can upgrade to 2GB.
