VAIO Z1 notebook, web-assistant function on touchpad fails

I wonder if anyone else has experienced this problem. I just bought a VAIO Z1 notebook, but the web-assistant on the touchpad does not work. When sliding your finger left and right on the top of the touchpad, you should go back and forth in your browser pages, which is not the case on my PC.

I have an older VAIO where this function is working perfect and I am missing this function a lot on my new PC.

Can anyone help?

thanks

Go to www.viao-link.com and download the latest mouse driver (5.3.510.9a). I tried it on my Z1RSP. Web assistant works fine afterwrds.

Try going to START - SETTINGS - CONTROL PANEL and selecting Mouse. This should give you a whole range of options for your touchpad,.

If the Z1 has a Synaptics pad then the option isn't available. It is only available on the ALPS pad.
