my vaio vgc-v2m comes with pioneer dvd-rw dvr-k14l and for quite long time ,8x ritek dvd-r i can only wite at 4x max some blancs only at 2x i have no ideea why it is doing this,and any help is apreciated thank ya
I have a VGC-M1 PC and also using Pioneer DVD RW .. I also encounter the speed of 4X burning instead with maximum 8X .. Perhaps the pioneer didn't managed to burn at that speed or i think you have to purchased the SONY branded 8X DVD R in order to activate that 8X speed.. hehe
By the way, I can burn on 4X about 15 minutes on a DVD R and that's fine with the time on me.. hehe... Didn't happen on 2X speed at the moment.. Try not to burn too much disc in one time.. I pefer burn 5 disc and let the drive to rest for a while.. that's should be much better...
