I think I' ve a problem with ventilation in my notebook...It is from about two months that makes noise in excess..can anyone suggest me how can I do?Is it necessary sony support?
To confirm your diagnosis that the cooling vents are partially blocked download MobileMeter and report back with the CPU temperature during normal running conditions. Also let us know which model Vaio you have.
If over heating does prove to be the problem then you could try clearing the vents that you will find either on the side or rear of your notebook with compressed air. Most PC shops sell cans of this and it is sometimes called an “air duster”.
If this has no effect then it may be necessary to open the notebook to carry out a thorough clean of the vents and cooling fan.
