Hi werdas,

The Multimedia Video Controller is your TV Tuner which I am guessing does not have an updated driver for Vista. I think you will have to look in your original drivers package for XP to find the TV Card driver - I think it is called "MPEGEncoder" in the driver package.

However, your TV function cannot work in Vista Media Centre like a normal TV Tuner. The MPEG Encoder can only work from within Vaio Zone and a workaround is to install a Vista compatible version of Vaio Zone - the instructions for installing Vaio Zone will appear if you click to download Vaio Zone - you will also need to turn off Aero to get the TV working in Vaio Zone.

SNY5001 is the 'Sony Notebook Control' driver which again I can only see in the original XP drivers package and called "SonyNoteCtrl"

Good Luck
