My Vaio VGN-C2Z/B laptop's 16:10 (11.25inch x 7inch) screen has horizontaly stretched the Windows display. i.e. everything I see appears squashed from the top & bottom to fit the screen. I assume that means I need to change to a 16: 9 aspect ratio but all the Control Panel options allow me to do is change the resolution (go from 1024 x 768 to 800 x 600). There is no option in Display to change the aspect ratio. It is set at : "Generic Non php monitor on Standard VGA Graphic adaptor" and while there is a drop down menu bar under this there are no other options.
Do I need to download a new driver? or graphic adaptor?
Did I load up the wrong Windows OS?
What Windows OS do you have installed?
Your native screen resolution is 1280 X 800 and you need a nVidia Graphics Driver installed.
If you are using Vista you can download the nVidia 7.15.10.9746 driver from here: -
