VGN-FE312Z Integrated Camera and Live Messenger

Hi
Does anybody know why the integrated camera on my VGN-FE31Z isn't recognised in Windows Live Messenger? It tests out OK using the video/audio utility, also works fine using Skype. The error message says that I'm already using it (which I'm not knowingly) or it's not connected. There are a lot of articles about this problem pre-SP2 but this is a brand new laptop with SP2 installed and all other updates done.
Any help welcome.....

Works totally fine on mine, except that the camera doesnt quite point in the right direction which means I have to tilt the screen a little more upright than I like.
