I installed Vista, thanks for the useful advice on this forum.
Everything is working fine, apart from one thing, if I want to listen to iTunes or any audio through either headphones or external speakers via the jack at the front I have to plug in the headphones then reboot! This procedure is something that is recommended to do by Microsoft if the audio device is a USB connection (which this isn't but does the job but obviously less than an ideal resolution.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912176
I have tried Sound/ properties / test in control panel and this works through the headphones, it just music and sound from movies ect that doesn't play.
Can anyone help!
