ive upgraded my MS windows to XP Pro but im unale to get any sound in the hardware manager theres a device that isnt installed " pci device" ive installed the sound drivers from the vaio site can anyone help me please

Hi lee9127 and welcome to the forum.

You need to install the Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definition Audio class driver before installing the Realtek audio drivers. If the pre-installed UAA drivers are not working then try this LINK and look for version KB888111.
