VGN-FW11E bios update how long to instal

I am in the process of a bios update using the windows installer and it has now been running for 2 hours. There is occasional hard drive activity.

Please does anyone know how long this normally takes ?

I don't want to stop the instal in case it all goes wrong.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Hi Rich,

I was just looking for a download of Arcsoft Webcam companion as at the moment not installed.

Do you reckon it should work with instant Messenger ?

Hi Dave,

Yes it should work with Instant Messenger. Make sure that the correct camera is selected as default – Tools > Audio and Video Setup...
