I have an old VGN-FZ31Z...
At some point the graphic card seamed like it has crashed, showing everything with low colour resolution. During the start up, after the VAIO logo, lines are shown. I used the Alt+F10 to restore and it worked. After though 5-10 minutes it appeared again with a blue screen saying to contact a technician. I tryied to open it again normaly and everything was alright again for a couple of minutes. It is possible that the graphic card is loosing connection to the motherboard? because it doesnt seam to be crashed as it is working sometimes.
