Hi, I just bought my first Vaio and really like it. The only problem is that I'm having problems connecting wirelessly to my BT Home Hub. I have another Toshiba laptop running XP that has no problems whatsoever.
When I try to connect, it sometimes connects with local and internet and then drops the internet connection after a few minutes. Sometimes it will only connect local. Sometimes it will not connect to the hub at all. Sometimes it doesn't even see any wireless networks. If I connect using the ethernet cable then there are no problems.
I have tried removing the wireless adapter driver and replacing it with the one from the Vaio site. I have changed wireless channels and this seems to make no difference. I have removed security from the Hub and still get the problem. I have reset the hub and still get the problem.
All the while I can connect with my other laptop.
Any help is much appreciated....
