Video Capturing, Authoring and Burning Applications

Hi All: I just bought a VAIO RZ 34G, GREAT Machine! I've been using Click to DVD, but wanted to try something a bit more sophisticated, I want to put scrolling text, transitions and special effects on my DVD movies.

I bought Roxio's Easy CD & DVD Creator 6, but when I tried to use it, I kept getting a message that the Capture Device was incompatible with the Application.

Can anyone recommend a SW package that will allow me to capture analog and digital video, edit it, add scrolling text, special effects and transitions AND will work on my VAIO?

I have used Ulead VideoStudio 6 and most recently 7 and have been impressed, I have created some great DVD's from my Sony DV Camcorder
