Just re-formatted my laptop. Cannot access the download area to get the video/sound drivers. Can anyone help?

what graphics you have? and sound?

if you have ati radeon or new ati x??? you can download and install official ati drivers. they work just fine. or you can go to www.omegadrivers.net and download set of re-worked ati drivers. Personaly I use them cause the have some openGL related bugs fixed.

'bout the sound. if you have intel hd audio you can also download intel drivers. they work.

If you are asked for any info, it will be the serialnumber of your Vaio. You can find it on the bottom of the machine, and in the Bios. The serial number is split into the model number with eight digits starting with 28 and then the actual serial number with 7 digits: 28xxxxxx-xxxxxxx.
