I have a VGN-A497XP and installed Vista Ultimate on it. The problem is now that Speedstep does not work with Vista. So the processor is running on full frequency the whole time and its getting very hot. Must I deinstall Vista or has anyone a solution. Speedstep with XP worked fine!
