Volum button VGN-TXP/S not working

Last week my +/- volum button on the VGN-TXP/S is not responding when pressing it. The mute button is working ok.

Maybe I need to reset the button from windows ??

Can anyone help, please?

Hi Sanjay,

I assume that you mean VGN-T2XP/S? If so download the pre-installed utilities from Vaio-Link , and then install the following (in this order):

1 Sony Utilities (Installer Folder 1)
2 Sony Shared Library (Installer Folder 2)
3 Vaio Event Service (Installer Folder 5)

Then re-boot.

You may find that you need to repeat this process a couple times before the volume keys work.
