Volume buttons on VGH-T1XP dont work HELP

I have the little ultra portable its great but without any apparent reason the - + volume control does nothing any more I think it just may have happened after windows media 11 was loaded but not sure.

Anyone else experienced this or have anyideas its really irritating especially where i am now

Hi skydyer and welcome to ClubVAIO,

Are the other utilities that use the Fn button working? (Screen Brightness etc.)

If not you may need to download the Preinstalled Utilities for your model FROM HERE and re-install them.

Unzip the file to a temporary folder and Install in this order:

1 Sony Utilities (installer folder1)
2 Sony Shared Library (installer folder 2)
3 Vaio Event Service (installer folder 5)

Reboot your Vaio.

Sometimes the process needs repeating to succeed.
