Hi, I've just downgraded my VPCEH1S0E/W from Windows 7 to Windows XP Professional SP3 32 bit for personal programs compatibility. Everything runs fine but I can't find a way to install the HD audio drivers.
This is the Everest report section about the HD Audio soundcard:
Conexant Cx20590 @ Intel Cougar Point PCH - High Definition Audio Controller [B-2] PCI
Intel Cougar Point HDMI @ Intel Cougar Point PCH - High Definition Audio Controller [B-2] PCI
Can anybody help me to find XP 32 drivers? I'm going crazy!
Cheers
Hi woodoste,
XP has no native support for HD Audio so a Microsoft hotfix (UAA High Definition Audio Class Driver) needs to be installed prior to installing the audio drivers.
If you drop me a PM with an email address I will send you the necessary file with instructions.

Hi.
Can you send mi ths files o drivers for ths audio?
Tks
Hi fgalicia and welcome,
The hotfix (KB835221) is available from the following link.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/835221
The audio driver will also be required and can be downloaded from the Sony Support site. If you have problems finding this let us know your full model number we can point you in the right direction.
