Can anyone help me with my vpcf11joe notebook? lately there was a green line running down the left of my computer screen and it normaly fades out but now it stuck there everytime i turn on my computer, my vaio does get very hot when i am playing games and would it have anything to do with that and is there anyway of getting rid of it? thanks for any help you can give me

Looks like an LCD issue to me. When you plug an external monitor, is it visible?

If not, check the warranty and have it checked by a technician. Good luck.

Try connecting your Vaio to an external monitor, do you still have the same problem.?

When connected to an external monitor if the orange line is not visible then this should eliminate the graphics chip as the cause of the problem.?

Do you get the same orange line when in safe mode.?To enter safe mode restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F8 key repeatedly..
