VPCSB31FX/B - HD-500GB problem.

I bought a VPCSB31FX/B, serial number 27549501300xxxx, at Sony Store New York on the 23th of december, 2011. I used it twice, 5 hours in total, and the HD 500-GB is not working. Does the SB series have this problem?

Not usually unless you drop it or mishandle it in some way.  Hard drives are still sensitive to shock.

When you say it is not working, what error messages do you get?  What are the symptoms?  What happens when you turn it on?
