Where to find Vaio Event Manager?

I have reinstalled Windows 7 and my hotkeys aren't working. It seems the Event Manager controls these but it is not on my list of services running on my computer and I can not find it in the list of  drivers on the Sony website.

My model is VPCCA3E1E

Thanks

Mark

Hi thechud,

The utilities that control the Fn keys vary between models but with the VPCCA3E1E it would seem to be as follows:

1.    Install the SFEP driver from within Device Manager (this should only apply to a clean install and will be evident as a yellow warning symbol will be shown against the Sony Firmware Extension Parser Device – Human Interface Devices)
2.    Install Sony Shared Library.
3.    Install Sony Notebook Utilities.

Sony does not guarantee that all hot key functions will work if you have clean installed a retail version of the OS.
