does anybody have any contact email address for somebody at sony who can answer a question for me ;

when are they going to update there software so i can at least use windows 7 , i had the same problem when vista came out the fact i couldn't use it .
I bought the 64 bit pro version of vista & gave up waiting for the updates to use it & still don't know if there all available, now i've just been on the sony website to see if my laptop is ok to run windows 7 on & low & behold it isn't there on the list .....

What model Vaio do you have? I'm sure someone here can help you.

If you want to talk to Sony click on SUPPORT at the top of this page and choose to go to the Support Page. Sign in using your Vaio Model and click on the 'Get in Touch' Icon. If your Vaio is out of warranty it will ne a premium phoneline.

If you still have a pre-Vista Vaio then it is most unlikely that Sony will release a set of Windows 7 Drivers and Utilities (particularly if they did not do so for Vista). However, this does not mean you cannot run Windows 7.

Have you downloaded and run the Microsoft Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor? This will tell you what drivers you need to find and which programs are incompatible.

many thanx for the reply , i've got a VGN 21RS i've done nothing to it apart from upgrade the hardrives to bigger ones .
I went on that site but it came back with all soirts on it ;

have a look & see what you think , obviously i want to keep it to 64 bit but that's been my problem especially with vista it would of let me upgrade to 32 bit but not 64 ............ :smileyd_oh:
