Wireless suddenly not working - anyone know what to do?

Not long ago I canged from BT to Sky as my broadband provider. I set up the modem / router no problem, all seemed to be running smoothly. Then, without warning, the light on the wireless switch at the front of the laptop goes out, despite it being in the 'on' position and refuses to go back on.

What to do?

You don't mention your model so I can't be more specific but try to double-click on the Wireless Utility icon in the taskbar -

and make sure 2.4GHz Wireless Lan is activated.
