As an update on my Previous Thread regarding Sound problems and connection of a VAIO XL-201 and a " Modern" Sony T.V. ( December 2009 ) It would appear that the units are not compatible.
So the Sony promises of long term customer care and concern are as nothing.
XL-201 Users BEWARE Repeat buy of a Sony Television may not be a good choice.
