Hi,
Been trying now for a few days to get my DR-BTN200 bluetooth headphones to play on my laptop. They work fine with my phone etc. so not sure why it’s not working with my laptop.
As you can see from my screenshot I can pair the device but it immediately greys out as if it is not connected. Then in playback devices I can see some headphones that are greyed out too and I can’t enable them. The operations manager then for the device does nothing when I click "Listen to Music"
Does anyone know what’s wrong?
P.S. The wireless bluetooth adapter is an Intel 4.0 adapter so I'm presuming it should be capable of generating a connection.
Thanks.
Hi there,
I have the same problem with this piece of equipment when I try to use it on ly laptop. It works fine for a moment, but it stops working properly after switching off the computer or putting it to sleep. This is pretty annoying as I bought this device to use on a laptop. The wifi/bluetooth card is not to blame: got the same problem with the Intel 7260.hmwwbr, which I have just bought, as well as my previous wifi/bt card, the Qualcomm Atheros ar9485wb-eg
For both card, 2 devices in in the bluetooth section disappeared, including one named bluetooth le enumerator. . Then, for the Qualcomm one, the main bluetooth device just disappeared after a few days, which is quite strange.
I suspect this is due to poor quality drivers on Sony's part.
Any idea anyone? Anyway, if the headset still doesn't work on laptop, it will go straight back to Amazon where it came from 🙂
Thanks,
Jimmy
