Hi binit777

There's a help guide here that you may find useful: http://bit.ly/2r291z6

Hi Pete, thanks for your reply! i saw that earlier before i posted the question but thanks for sending it.

The link doesn't really help about microphone volume too low for those at the other end of the call. I've often had to remove the bluetooth headset and talk directly into the phone as my sound is too faint for the other side. It's got to a point where i wont have a choice but to ditch the sony headphones.

The link did say by the way

  • Check that both the headset and the connected device (i.e., smartphone) are turned on. (CHECK)
  • Turn up the volume of the headset and the connected device (i.e., smartphone).(CHECK)
  • Check that output of the BLUETOOTH device is set for the headset.(CHECK)
  • Select an HFP or HSP BLUETOOTH connection by operating the BLUETOOTH device. (HOW DO I DO THIS?)

Thanks and regards, Binit

I have exactly the same issue.  I've calling my voicemail and left myself a message to confirm the problem.  I put it down to the microphone being "rubbish" on this model.  Have you had any more success?

I have the same problem with the WH-1000XM3, connected via the app and people say I that the volume of my microphone is very low when I call them. What can I do to solve this?
