NW A45 can I connect this to optical in on Extreme Music Soundcard?

I have optical in and out with a Toslink or Coaxl cable on the soundcard! Can I run my player through the headphone jack to the optical in on soundcard?

If so, what kind of jack would I need?

Hi.....I figured it out, it was so simple. Can't belieive I forgot this! just using a single rca on each end and then plug one into your Line In and make sure you remember to check..Play Through This Device.
