NW-A55L output jack issues

Hi,

 

I have an issue with my NW-A55L. 

 

It seems the output jack is on it's way out and as a result, whenever I attempt to listen to the player via head/earphones, it stops after a few seconds (if I manage to get anything out at all).

 

The player still works perfectly fine via Bluetooth.

 

Does anyone know if there is anywhere I could get this repaired, other than the Sony Central Service. I'm not keen to send the player through the post and would prefer to hand it in to a repairer, preferably Sony authorised.

Hey @mapente53, I don't think any other repair centre would be trusted, it would also void the warranty if the Walkman is still under the guarantee period, so my advice would be to contact the Sony reps directly and see if there is a way to get the Walkman to them directly.
