NW-A806

I am using Sony's Media Go to download 256bit MP3 songs to a NW-A806 Walkman. The files transfer fine and from my PC I can play the songs that are stored on the A806. The menory size on the A806 reduces as I transfer more songs. However the A806 itself will not create a library of songs and consequently "no songs are available for playback" message appears. I have downloaded 1.03 firmware (again), formated the memory, presssed the reset button and reset all options but still have the problem. I have tried different file formats and bit rates such as AAC as well.

I have just bought an a806 from ebay and it does the same,i think without sonicstage and and old windows computer this walkman is pretty much obsolete,unless sony can help out!!

Two lines of code change to the NW-A806 firmware is all it needs.

 

Come on Sony where is your recognition of customer loyalty?
