I have a Walkman NW-A1000 for many years. I later got myself a windows 7 operating system. When I installed the software (which was not easy, nor straightforward in any way!) it actually worked!
Recently it spontaenously stopped working. I get a message telling me to verify my system. I tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it. Now I'm getting the old problems I had back when I first installed it on Windows 7. My problem relates to this right now: I need to install some drivers, which I can't do because the installers are not available online. One of these drivers is SonyMsus.inf. I'm currently getting "access is denied". Specific message: "An installation support file '...{CC93D1AA-B881-489A-8D7E-C2DBC1E6F350}\isrt.dll' could not be installed. Access is denied."
Other sources online seem to suggest this file is a grey area in terms of virus/malware. Therefore I think it's possible my antivirus deleted it, leading the software to become corrupted. I tried downloading isrt.dll files, but that doesn't work either. I still get the same message.
I also tried installing the driver, found here https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/downloads/Z0005539 just in case that might work, but I get the same message.
I also tried telephoning Sony and they were abrasively unhelpful because this Walkman is out of production.
Can anyone PLEASE help me?
Try installing the full offline version of SonicStage again:

Hey! Thanks for your reply!
When I click on your link it says "The file you are trying to download is no longer available". Can you post again?
Which version of SonicStage is it?
