Sony Walkman NW A45 - How To Arrange Tracks By Artist Only

I found that the Walkman randomly arranges tracks by song title and some by group/singer.

This leaves the song lists all over the place.
Before uploading, I always make sure the group/singer is worded before the song title, but the Walkman messes it all up.

How can I arrange all tracks by group/singer only?

The best way to do this is to create a playlist using the Music centre app on your PC and to arrange the tracks the way like them then save and import it to the Walkman so it can be played in that order.

Unfortunately that's what I have been doing and I even have the "sort by artist" tab clicked and it still arranges some tracks by song title.

Also it keeps saying "no playlist available", even though I have a playlist folder.

Seems a lot of issues for an expensive product.

As a workaround, you should also be able to create a playlist using Windows Media Player and copy that to your Walkman. Have you tried this?

I'm on a Mac and don't have access to a Windows PC.

i guess you use itunes to rip ur music? check out if you filled in the "artist album" is filled and see if it makes any difference.

I build up my library via itunes and i have no such issues... must be something missing or wrong with the info tag of the track for messing up the walkman
