Sony wh-1000xm3 noise Cancelling has gotten a lot worse since 2019 christmas

So one day I was walking home and realised it was raining and only realised that the headphones weren't water resistant until I got home and none of the other things like sound had worsened but the noise Cancelling were notably worse than before. Is this normal that 2 weeks the noise Cancelling is worse or should I get a repair?
