My WH-1000XM2 needs a couple of tries every time I connect to my S9+ (on Android). This doesn't occur in my other BT headsets. I get "Bluetooth connected" followed by "Bluetooth disconnected" a couple of times until a successful connection is established and then it's fine, until next time I turn them on. Anyone experienced this? I'm not sure if it's a headset issue or an Android issue.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies.
I tried connecting with another S9+ and it worked fine.
Then it occurred to me that the only difference between my phone and the other phone was that other phone didn't have the Headphones app installed. So I uninstalled it and the problem was gone. Installed it again and the problem didn't come back.
I don't know why I didn't think of this before. I guess I thought that this was a connection issue and that the bluetooth driver was independent of the app.
Now I cross my fingers and hope it will stay this way
Hi johanngj,
Welcome to the community.
I'm just going to try to find some answers for you. In the meantime, maybe someone else in the community might have some ideas.
Thanks,

Hi johanngj
I'd first recommend testing the headphones with at least one more phone and if the same thing happens, reset them using the steps here: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm2/v1/en/contents/TP0001513198.html
That should be enough to fix it.
