WH-1000XM4 sound goes from phone

I've got Redmi Note 8T, MIUI12.0.4 with Sony wh-1000xm4
The problem is: while listening music from Spotify its all ok, but trying open youtube makes sound go from phone not headphones. Furthermore, if ill try to open Twitch application, it crashes immediately. Idk what to do, just bought brand new headphones and i cant use it.

P.S. I already tried factory reset and clearing bluetooth cache

I found solution! It only happens with LDAC turned on, if i turn it off all problems go away. Probably these apps dont support this codec or whatever, just annoying bug

This is probably to do with your phone switching the sound output device, try switching using the volume popup (I believe most Android 9-10 devices have this function).

Nah its not, i was setting phone sound to 0 and when you open youtube it sets equally that your headphones had, also it wont change twitch app crashing. At this moment these 2 apps are only that creates such a problem

That's exactly what I was saying, if it was the headphones, it would've been all apps. It's probably an issue with the 2 apps themselves.

That said, you can always try resetting them or updating to the latest software version if you don't already have it.

Hope this helps!

That's weird, by default, the apps should downgrade to the codec they support, but I'm glad you have everything working properly now!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to share the solution and also marking it for others ^^
