Xb33 speakers lights not fully off when you turn them off

Hi, like the subject says, the lights on my xb33 speaker don’t fully turn off when you turn them off with the button on the back. It’s like a pretend - off, where they at first seem to not be on, but if you’re in the dark, you can plainly see some dim white light pulsing through the lights on the side intermittently . If this is one of the bugs that’s pretending to be a feature, it’s a fail. No one wants their speaker doing that when they’ve turned the lights off.

Have you tried updating the software version or using the Fiestable app to check if it's actually a bug or just how this works?

Well I’m connecting to my iPad Air 3, which doesn’t even have fiestable. Indeed I had to download it on my phone, just to do a reset to default, and then delete it, just to test this. Of course I have the latest firmware as well.

And it’s still happening. It usually takes some hours of being on, before it actually kinda wakes you up (I was using a white noise app on the mode that conserves power). It’s faint, but in a dark room, my husband and I can both clearly see it.

It’s just that the button on the back that turns off the lights, really should actually turn off the lights? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi @apollostowel

I think your speaker is faulty. You should be able to have it replaced at the point of sale.
