Not content with just announcing a couple of new models, we decided to start the new year with a bang by introducing an entire new range of televisions. The 2015 BRAVIA TV range brings super smart features and superior picture quality to a seriously slim design that needs to be seen to be believed.
Our 12 4K Ultra HD models have been fitted with a brand new 4K processor, the X1, which improves upon last year’s range and brings even more clarity, colour and contrast to whatever it is that you’re watching - including non-4K content.
This new BRAVIA range isn’t just smarter, it’s also a lot thinner. The X90C model - available in 55 or 65 inches - boasts a breathtaking design that measures just 4.9mm thin, making it even slimmer than our Xperia Z2 Tablet. It’s when the X90C is wall-mounted that the design really stands out, and this is simpler than ever with the mount that’s supplied in-box.
For the first time ever, selected models come included with Android TV - an exciting new user interface that revolutionises the way you interact with your television. Everything you love doing on your Android tablet or smartphone is now possible on the big screen, whether it’s playing games, looking through photos or streaming music via your favourite app. Voice commands can be used to control the television, and with built-in Google Cast you can send whatever is on your smartphone or tablet to the big screen instantly. It’s fast, fun and incredibly easy to use.
All this focus on picture quality and design doesn’t mean we’ve compromised on sound. The X94C and X93C 4K Ultra HD models come with High Resolution Audio technology, which upscales all audio to better-than-CD quality for sound that is just as immersive as the picture quality.
