Imaging Edge software,

Imaging Edge software,

I'm having problems with the viewer, it only opens for a few seconds then closes down!

The Edit software works fine!

I reinstalled the software but it does exactly the same thing, help.

Hi Blindasabat101

Welcome to the community.

I'm just going to try to find some answers for you. In the meantime, maybe someone else in the community might have some ideas.

Thanks,

Hi Blindasabat101,

That's very strange. What's the operating system of your computer?

Hi Blindasabat101,

It should be compatible as per the recommended computer environment added on the website: http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/disoft/int/pcenv/en/contents/index.html

Have you tried removing/uninstalling the app and re downloading it again?

Cheers,

Yes,
I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it, twice, and still it
closes when using Viewer. after 3-5 secs

Hi Blindasabat101,

I've just tested the program from my side and it didn't crash.

Could you try a different PC?

Cheers,

I can't see what that would achieve, there must be another software
conflict!
I have Paintshop Pro 2020
Faststone image viewer
The main photo editors.

Hi Blindasabat101,

I am not sure if these will cause any conflicts.

I'd say try uninstalling them one by one if possible and check which software was causing the issue.

But this sounds like too much work to do, that's why I recommended trying a different PC.
