Hi,
Out of nowhere the Sony Headphones Connect App has stopped working. I have a Sony Xperia 1 III with the latest version of Android. Whenever I put in my WF-1000XM4s and launch the app, it just says connecting for a few seconds and then the app crashes entirely. The earphones connect to my phone but the app doesn't work and so I can no longer use those features.
I've tried resetting the headphones, reinstalling the app, clearing the cache etc and nothing works.
Did you open the Support app?
Open Support, tap on device overview and find App issues.
Maybe there's some information there.
Have you tried an older version of the app?
The old versions can be found with a quick Google search and can fix some issues that can sometimes occur with app updates.
If it does fix it, you can report the issue to the app development team for (hopefully) a fix in a later update.
