I cant scan QR code with camera because it wont sharpen image enough and it stays blurry with camera active. I have nokia 7 plus and with it i can scan code in half of a second.
And yes, lens is clear

Make sure that the QR code is 12cm or more away from the phone
Also, that's a third party, if you still have issues with it, you have to contact the app developer as it's up to them to address any app issues.
