Charging problem of sony xperia xa1 plus

Hello i just want to ask about the charging time of xperia xa1 plus. I'mIjust little bit worried about the charging. I bought my phone last January 2018 and the charging is really good. It reached 100% quickly. But this week (February 18-21), i found out that it never reached 100% even if i charged it for more than 6 hours. It will just remain 68%. This is my first time to use sony xperia phones. I hope you can help me. Thank you.

Hi @Miya21, welcome to our forum and I'm sorry to hear about the device not charging as it should.

Do you remember if you very recently updated the device or installed a new application just prior to starting to experience this behaviour when charging your device?

To start with, I would recommend that you restart your device in safe mode, so we can make sure that a downloaded application isn't the cause of the device not being charged to more than 68% as downloaded applications are temporarily disabled in safe mode.

You can also try charging your device when it's powered off with the original charger and cable that was included together with your device.

I'm glad to hear that you were able to charge your device to 100% in safe mode!

It could be that just the reboot to safe mode was able to solve this, so have you tried restarting your device back to the "normal" mode and tried charging it? If you still can't charge it to 100% without being in safe mode, one of your downloaded applications is the cause of this, so in that case I would recommend that you check so all your downloaded applications are updated to the latest version.

You can also start uninstalling the last installed applications to find which one is the cause of this.
