"com.android.phone stopped working" constantly pops up. There is no service provider detected.

I have cleared data and cache for phone services, restart in safe mode - problem persists. Factory reset done and still have the same issue.

Had to contact support, this is what they suggested to do:

Regarding your query today about the error on your device after the update, please perform the following steps:

1. Turn off the device and remove the SIM card as well as the Micro SD Card.

2. Turn on the cell phone and then go to: Settings> Applications and notifications> Application information> menu button (three vertical dots)> Show system.

3. Once there, you should look for the applications: "Android System", "News" and all that say SIM ...

4. The cache and data of those applications are erased and then the device is turned off. (In case of not being able to erase data and data, Force Stop is done with the applications)

5. Finally, insert the SIM card and the Micro SD and lock the cell phone again.

It is working for now, but I am not too confident because it was working for a little while after my previous attempt, to end up crashing in loop again ...

To turn off updates on the phone itself:

Settings > About phone > Software update > {click on the upper right 3 dots} > Settings > Allow automatic updates > "Do not update automatically".

Still with support on the chat because their solution is not working, and now theyare suggesting to send back the device to service center ...

Same with me. I told them that if they look on the support forums there are more people with this problem. They only told me to do the PC companion repair and get back to them.

Yep, Immediately after update. Phone goes haywire with

com.android.phone has stopped error message every 2 seconds

Yes they don't care at all.

I am going to go at the cellphone provider store and explain and ask to switch phone but I don't know if that will work ... I am definitely switching brand!

I have the same problem since this morning... My phone has been updated last night and now i have a popup to every 2 seconds : « com.android.phone a cessé de fonctionner » (i'm french)... I can't use my phone anymore! What's the solution?
