In call volume - people can't hear me

Hi. I recently bought a brand new XA1 Ultra and everything was working fine until today. From today, people can't hear me when I'm trying to have a call with them but only when I have the phone next to me year; when I switch to speaker mode, everything is fine. I read that I'm supposed to switch off "Microphone noise suppression" but I don't seem to have this option in my phone. What should I do ?

I bought this phone because of Sony brand.  It has never worked well.  people couldnt hear me after a few minutes, now they can only hear me if I use speaker.  This phone the big one!  From seeing this forum it is a know problem. Sony is selling crap

Settings > Support > Xperia tests > Microphone.

when I got to xperia tests there is no test for microphone

Hi @tonyleesr57, sorry to hear about this and I apologize for the late reply, I have been out of office due to vacation.

The test has been changed quite a bit since I made my original post and the test is now available in Settings > Support > Xperia tests > Microphone and speakers/Media (depending on the version of the Support application that you have installed).

Let me know how the test goes!
