So my phone asks me for my pattern, which is quite common, as in my pocket sometimes it thinks I'm trying to unlock it and can't find the fingerprint. Then, it says the pattern is not correct, which is not possible, as I've been using the same one since 2010. To unlock it, I try and use Find my device, the google service, and It says it's out of reach. I have no VPNs, the phone was connected to wifi, 4g, location was on and even bluetooth. Tried hotspotting 4g from another phone and connecting both my PC and the phone on that same network and still couldn't find it. Tried disablind location, wifi, 4g, one at a time and in every combination and still couldn't find it. Now I'm using Xperia companion to try and fix it, but its taking forever. Can I have been victim to a vicious malware?
