Hello everyone,
I really dont know when it happened and was it related to some of the latest updates or not, because I have not been setting anything and did not use Settings function literally for couple of months or more.
So lately I wanted to change a wallpaper and I doscovered that I cant do anything because Settings will open on some certain place and I cant scroll down or up. There is attachement to this post so you can see how the settings screen look like.
It is not just not allowing me to scroll anything, but the functions, that are seen also does not open when clicking on them. So it is some basic glitch with Settings. Does anyone know something about it and does anyone know where to write to have support help from SONY?
Thanx everyone
Hi @Galago, welcome to our forum and I'm sorry to hear about this.
Is there any change if you open up the Settings menu from the quick settings in your device? You can do so by pulling down the notification bar and tapping the little gear icon in the top right corner.
If you still can't scroll through the settings menu when opening the settings menu this way, try rebooting your phone in safe mode and see if you can access the settings menu when downloaded applications aren't loaded.
Let me know if that helps!
I am not sure did your answer help, any way the issue disappeared itself. I was cleaning the space, so i deleted a lot of apps. I suppose, that some of them made the menu glitching.
I tried to do as you suggested, at the moment when I cleaned a lot of apps, and the menu was really working properly. So your suggestion may be a solution, but I cant know for sure.
Hi again @Galago, I'm glad to hear that it is working now again!
Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with!
