Have you attempted an OTA software update and are now stuck on a verifying screen?

I updated the Software and a screen dims and appears as stripes

Same issue here. Xperia ☓ update just showing verifying for last 2 days. I can use the phone but it's annoying. Tried restarting the phone but the message is still there.
