Xa1 WIFI loses connection without reason.

Throughout the first week of using this phone with a completely new wifi set up at home, my xa1 still just keep disconnecting from it.. It's a spare phone i just bought cos my beloved XZ went for a repair.  And the touch keyboard is crazy. Random letters appear. Typing this out is a nightmare!!!

hi,

1. the wifi connection issue maybe due to interference with other wifi devices in the area. Try changing channels on the wifi router or even broadcast another wifi sid and connect the phone to that sid leaving other working devices on the older wifi sid.

2. Turn off bluetooth first when connecting to wifi and keep it off if you dont need it. I have experienced that wifi and bluetooth on simultaneously has issues and if you search the web lots of people has complained the same.

3. RESTART the phone, the ultimate fix. I have reached to a point I have to do it at least once a day when trying to connect to my phone bluetooth speaker.

This sony phone has plenty wireless connectivity issue. I think it is hardware issue and any software update is not going to fix it. Only option change the phone or continue reboots.

I have the same problem but not only does WiFi get disconnected but so does mobile data. Used same sim card in other phones recieve full bars with LTE. With this phone maybe 1 bar, and not even 3G. I see no software or hardware fix provided thus far. Tried all workarounds even a factory reset but problems persists.

Thanks! But I've tried them all. It even has ghost touch issues. I've sent it to Sony for repair after a week with it and fingers crossed it can be saved. Some people don't have this problem like I didn't have Bluetooth problems! As of days before sent in for repair. It's disturbing to having been a Sony user from alarm clocks radios MP3 and camera user, the phones always will have a certain problem. I am an Xperia user since the Ericsson age of the w380 to x8 and so on..
