Xperia XA1 - Auto switch off while using

I am facing problem from the 2nd week of purchasing this mobie.

I gave my phone to sony service center and they repaired and got my phome after 1 week but after 2 weeks again same problem .

Phone is getting switched off suddenly while using. If i try to turn on at the moment it will not get on.

After 3 or 4 hours if i try randomly it will get started I am wondering then what kind of service they did on those seven days.

I'm sorry to hear that but this is a global user based forum, you should contact them again and get it inpsected. 

On a side note, does the phone gets really hot before it restarts? do you experience the same without the SIM card?

Same problem. My phone just came back from servise and I get new IMEI so it is basically new phone. Before service there was other problem (screen), and now screen is OK, but the phone is switching off. I was trying to repair phone by Sony Xperia Companion but there is still a problem. Sony please say something about it, because it is a big problem.

I have exactly the same issue with my phone and it is only 2 months old  Because there is a tiny crack beside the power button - which happened on Day 1 when I knocked it against a tile, I will be told that the warranty does not cover this. However, this is an issue that is recurring in handsets a few weeks old that are undamaged. Sony should play fair and look at this. I've been a loyal Sony customer for many years now, but this issue is testing my allegiance to its limits. Thank you in advance for any replies.

THIS IS THE SAME THING THAT IS HAPPENING WITH MY MOM’S FONE!! SHE CANNOT USED THE FONE  & KEEPS ON SHUTTING DOWN! I ALREADY TRIED DL SONY COMPANION BUT IT WOULD NOT WORK!! What to do now!? I ALREADY RESET THE FONE AND EVERYTHING
